Writer, Literature professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. She is literary critic, novelist and poet. Among her works, Las revistas de Poesía (1939-1975), Poesía Contemporánea. Historia y antología (1939-1980), La sal del Chocolate (1992), El dios dormido (1998), and El hijo del aire (2001), taken to the stage. She is considered one of the most noted scholars in contemporary Spanish poetry. In 2006, she was appointed director of the Cervantes Institute in Rome.

Degree in Law at the University of Granada. Licensed attorney since 1980. He has taught at the School of Legal Practice of the Bar of Jaén. Professor of Legal Practices at the University of Jaén. He was president of the Economic and Social Council of the Province of Jaén between 1996 and 2002.

Director of the Center for Intercultural Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Cali, Colombia. Philosopher of the Javeriana University in Bogotá. Consultant on Higher Education in the International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean IESALC / UNESCO, member of the Scientific Committee of the Conference on Higher Education GUNI (Global University Network for Innovation) a network coordinated by the University of the United Nations, UNESCO, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Author of several publications about the need for higher education, the multiculturalism and community processes of indigenous and Afro-descendents in south-western Colombia. For more than 28 years he has accompanied the indigenous and afro communities in the strengthening of their formative and organizational processes and for 12 years, he has done the same with the black communities of Colombia South Pacific.

Professor of Spanish Comparative Literature at the University of California, Berkeley. He has taught at the Universities of Berkeley, Princeton, Texas, San Antonio and Dartmouth College.

His publications focuses on certain aspects of modernism and postmodernism in XX century poetry of the Iberian Peninsula. He has also researched the art and literature of the Spanish Civil War. In this regard, he promoted a traveling exhibition of children's drawings during this historical period.

Priest, born in Mallorca, Spain. Currently, he is president of the Proyecto Hombre Association of the Baleares Islands. In 1997, he was awarded the Ramon Llull prize, and in 2007, the Gold Medal of the Comunidad Autónoma of the Baleares Islands for helping people with drug addiction.

Writer, poet, essayist and journalist. His work is mainly in Galician language, but he also writes articles in Castilian, especially for the newspaper El País. His book of stories Qué me queres, amor?, includes the story La lengua de las Mariposas, in which the eponymous film was based.

His work is completed whith the storybooks Ella, Maldita alma, La mano del emigrante (2002) and Las llamadas perdidas (2003). He is the author of three short novels: Los comedores de patatas (1993), El lápiz del carpintero (1998),pPrize of the Spanish Film Critics and filmed by Anton Reixa, and En salvaje compañía (1995), which has been republished with the author's corrections in 2004. His later works are the stage play El héroe (2005), the novel Los libros arden mal (2006), and the journalistic essay Os Grouchos (2007).

He was co-founder of Greenpeace Spain, and held senior positions in the organization for several years. During the Prestige disaster was one of the creators of the Nunca Máis platform.
